Fish and Shellfish Diplomas available for Fishmongers in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland
Outside of England, the fish and shellfish proficiency qualifications at Levels 2 and 3 are still being delivered to fishmongers as apprenticeships and standalone qualifications.
Cambrian Training Is the latest Seafish recognised apprenticeship provider to offer Level 3 Fish and Shellfish Apprenticeships and Diplomas. Cambrian Training can support employers across Wales with their apprenticeship needs.
Free Online Training
in Food Hygiene and Health & Safety
Last month Seafish launched their free online learning resources at Billingsgate Seafood Training School.
The online learning materials are hosted on the Seafood Academy website, along with an online testing system. The free package does not result in a nationally recognised qualification. To achieve a recognised, regulated qualification you would need to sit a written multiple choice test for which there would be a charge, but Seafish’s innovative free online resources go some way to reducing the cost of this essential training.
