• Baglan Industrial Park
• Harbourside and Port Talbot Docks
Baglan Energy Park is home to the Baglan Bay Innovation Centre, Solar Centre, Renewable Hydrogen Research and Demonstration, General Electric’s combined-cycle gas turbine power plant, and the Intertissue plant. More than 1,800 people are now working on the park, and once the project is complete, it will have the capacity to accommodate 3,000 jobs.
Harbourside Park is part of the Harbourside project. The town’s former docks quarter is being transformed into a new business hub, which will accommodate leading companies and will create high skilled jobs. Harbourside Park provides business space at the new R&D Village, which is already home to leading global manufacturers such as Tata Steel and TWI UK Ltd.
