A very warm welcome to everyone as we embark on a new season...
As we begin the 2018/2019 season, I think we should take a few minutes to reflect on what
a great season Llandovery Youth had last season, winning both the league and the Carmarthenshire Cup against Pontyberem at Parc Y Scarlets for the second successive season.
Congratulations to Tom Davies - Players Player of the Year, Rhodri 'Caws' Williams - Player oftheYearandRyanWilliams - Most promising player of the year, on their awards in what was probably one of the greatest seasons of youth rugby at Llandovery.
Also we wish all the departing players, Tom, Rhodri, Yoke, Ioan, Shaun, Aled and Zeb every success in their senior rugby careers and the two Patagonian boys namely Elvis and Martin who were with us for a short while.
Training for the forthcoming season has already started at ChurchBank- takingplace every Thursday at 6.30pm, all players, old and new are
welcome under the guidance of Head Coach Rob Williams.
Onasadnote, assistantcoach Stuart Doel has stepped down. Diolch yn fawr Stuart for your efforts over the last two seasons.
Again a good crew have joined us from the under 16s this season and all are very keentoimpress. Goodluck to you all.
Also a big thank you to all of our very generous sponsors for your continued support. New sponsors are always welcome!
