EARTH ANGELS & MAGIC MOMENTS
“I” (insert your perfect verb) (insert what you do)
for (insert the intended beneficiary) in order that they
can (insert benefit). Sometimes the benefit is obvious so
you don’t need to mention it—like in “I make learning
fun.”
Aim for as few words as possible: four to eight is
enough. Use the preceding examples and "I make
learning fun." "I connect people and ideas." "I give
women the strength to succeed." "I challenge seniors to
imagine wild, new ideas." "I illuminate choices." “I
shepherd lost souls.” “I make complicated concepts
sound simple and interesting.” These simple phrases
all changed lives dramatically. Including my own.
You will absolutely know when you are getting
close. You will feel it. It will be obvious. Some people
offer resistance at this point because they think it's too
obvious - but it wasn't obvious before.
The simpler the Statement the better. When you
watch someone go through this process you can tell by
their face as they get close. It relaxes and they light up
inside. Many report it's like floating. It's best summed
up in this email after one of my seminars. "I woke up
this morning and felt like I'd lost forty pounds."
