Next, imagine yourself in the bedroom or dressing room
of your future home. Open your wardrobe of the future. It’s
empty. Your clothes haven’t been delivered yet. Now, close
your eyes and see this successful you five years from now.
Ask yourself, How will I know when I’m successful? What
will it look like, feel like, sound like, smell like, and taste
like, specifically? Who will be there with me? How will my
life change to accommodate this success? How will I look?
How do I want to look? Start mentally filling the wardrobe.
Now, open your eyes. It’s time to take the first step toward
creating a look for yourself.
You can start the process right now. Begin by
determining where you want to fit on the approachability/
authority scale. Then establish whether you are more
comfortable as a casual or formal type of person. Bear in
mind the conventional confines and requirements of your
occupation or profession. When you’re ready to take the
next step, call in the professionals.
