Billie's phone buzzed. Again.
Email. Work. A client demanding an update.
Another notification. Another interruption. Another
demand on her already fragmented attention.
She felt a familiar wave of anxiety wash over her.
The constant barrage of digital information, the
relentless pinging and buzzing, the feeling of being
perpetually connected and perpetually on call.
She thought about the Time Bandit. She'd fought
hard to reclaim her time, to wrest it back from the
clutches of digital distractions. But the distractions
kept multiplying. The emails, the texts, the social
