LESS STRESS: MORE YES
She tamed her notifications. She turned off all but
the most essential alerts. The silence was… liberating.
She found that she was less distracted and more
focused.
She scheduled specific times to check email and
social media. She resisted the urge to check
constantly. She treated it like a chore, not a source of
entertainment.
She conducted an app audit. She deleted several
time-wasting apps from her phone. She felt a sense of
relief, like she'd decluttered her digital life.
She designated phone-free zones. The bedroom
became a sanctuary for sleep and intimacy. The dinner
table became a place for conversation and connection.
She started taking a digital sabbath. It was the
most challenging part. The first few Saturdays felt…
empty. She didn't know what to do with herself. But
she gradually rediscovered the joy of offline activities:
reading, hiking, spending time with friends, exploring
her city.
Slowly, gradually, something amazing happened.
Her sleep improved dramatically. She fell asleep
faster, slept more deeply, and woke up feeling
refreshed.
