LESS STRESS: MORE YES
She had actually accomplished something. She had
moved through her day, completing tasks, making
progress.
The to-do list was still there, looming in the
background. But the done list gave her a sense of
momentum, a feeling of control.
She started to track her done list every day. She
added items as she completed them, no matter how
small.
• Sent a difficult email.
• Paid a bill.
• Made someone laugh.
• Learned something new.
• Said "no" to an unnecessary request.
• Practiced the 60-Second Stress Buster.
• Went to a Tango class.
The done list became a source of motivation. It
reminded her that she was capable, that she was
making progress, that she was moving in the right
direction.
It also helped her to identify her strengths and her
priorities. She noticed that she consistently completed
tasks related to her work and her self-care. Those were
