NICHOLAS BOOTHMAN
The idea was radical, almost rebellious. It went
against everything she'd been taught about
productivity and time management.
But Billie was tired of feeling like a failure. She was
tired of stressing about what she hadn't done. She
wanted to celebrate her successes, no matter how
small.
She grabbed a new notebook and a pen. She titled
the first page, "Done List."
Then, she started to write.
• Woke up before 7 AM.
• Made a healthy breakfast.
• Did 2 hours of focused work on Project
Phoenix.
• Replied to 14 emails.
• Took a 15-minute walk during lunch.
• Had a productive meeting with a colleague.
• Made dinner.
• Read for 30 minutes.
• Went to bed before 11 PM.
She looked at the list. It wasn't a list of major
achievements. It was a list of everyday actions. But it
felt… good.
