Delegation
Billie sat at her desk, surrounded by a mountain of
paperwork. The Project Phoenix. Still.
The presentation loomed, a deadline monster
breathing down her neck. She felt the pressure
building, the tightness in her chest, the urge to reach
for the 60-Second Stress Buster.
She looked at her to-do list. It was a disaster. A
tangled web of tasks, many of which she knew, deep
down, she didn't have to do herself.
She thought about delegation. The word felt…
Wierd. Alien. Like a concept from another planet.
