But she was starting to feel the consequences. Her
energy levels were all over the place. Her mood was

opposite of all those things. It was draining her fire,
not fueling it.
She decided to take action. A nutritional
intervention.
She consulted a nutritionist. A practical, no-
nonsense woman who didn't preach or judge.
"You don't need to become a vegan overnight," she
told Billie. "Just make small, sustainable changes.
Focus on adding more good stuff, rather than
restricting everything bad."
She gave Billie a simple framework.
• The 80/20 Rule: Aim to eat healthy, whole
foods 80% of the time. Allow for some
flexibility and indulgence 20% of the time.
