But she was starting to feel the consequences. Her
energy levels were all over the place. Her mood was

who didn't preach or judge.
"You don't need to become a vegan overnight," she
told Billie. "Just make small, sustainable changes.
Concentrate on adding more good stuff, rather than
restricting everything bad."
She gave Billie a simple framework.

foods 80% of the time. Allow for some
flexibility and indulgence 20% of the time.
• The Rainbow Plate: Fill your plate with a
variety of colorful fruits and vegetables. Each
color provides different nutrients.
