She loosened her seatbelt slightly and turned more
fully towards me, the memory alive in her eyes. "I felt
this… pull. I can't explain it. She was just standing there,
alone, on vacation from Zurich. A teacher at a fancy girls'
school. And I knew, in that single instant, that I had to
speak to her. It was love at first sight, right there on the

She leaned back, a look of profound peace settling on
