Then he opened his testimony.
The first line came easily.
My name is Henry Talbot. I am a liar. He stopped.
Then wrote the next sentence.
That is why I know what lies can do. Tomorrow, he would face the Senate. Tomorrow, he would be judged.
Tonight, for once, he would not make the truth sound cleaner than it was.
