No one spoke.
That may have been the first decent thing Logan Edwards had ever said in Henry’s presence.
Vincent walked to the table and picked up the thumb drive.
“Does this contain everything?” “Yes.”
“Enough to prosecute Cerulean?” “Yes.”
“Enough to prosecute you?” Logan’s jaw tightened.
“Yes.”
Vincent held the drive out to Henry. “There is his price of admission.” Henry took it.
Claire looked furious.
“That’s it? He hands over a drive and joins the secret mercy-lie club?”
“No,” Vincent said. “He hands over the drive and becomes accountable. Joining us is a separate question.”
Jinji folded her arms. “My answer is no.” Logan looked at her. “You built Verax.” “Yes.”
