depths of the sea. So then, people cause others to seek the
lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of this

life, so woe to the world because of the things that cause
people to sin! But it should never happen.’ And by saying

in the verse 8, 9, ‘Because of the things that you take the
glory of the flesh, if your foot, hand, eye causes you to sin,

you have to cut it off and also to gouge it out and to throw
it away’, so He said clearly that there was no compromise,

nor excuse.
And, on the other hand, He is speaking to those

who are like the Pharisees and teachers of the law, who
understand the Word as a human head—it is based on

humanism, or man-centered—and draw people into their

thoughts. Also, He is speaking to those who are like Sad-
ducees who connect their faith to the world and secularize
it. Those who are like these people are the trap that Satan

has set to cause you to sin. There is no way to get out of

this trap if you are caught into it. This is because it is the
own original thing that humanism wants, namely, the
self-instinct wants, so people receive it as the best thing.

So, by showing to me the scene that someone had a large

millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in
the depths of the sea, the Holy Spirit let me know that the

showed situation would be their eternal circumstances
