D AY S IRISH WHISKEY
COURSE MARCH 2022
The course is taught by three outstanding, worldwide recognized experts (biographically detailed on page
three) and includes three days of instruction - from 9.00 AM until 5.00 PM with a lunch provided each day.
The third day - Saturday may be shorter following the exam offered by the Irish Instructors. An examination/
test is presented on the final day for you to receive a certificate of completion from the Irish Whiskey School
program. The team of instructors and staff from BDES will also be involved in teaching and preparation of
the sensory evaluation materials and sample presentations during the program. Full details of the course

“The team will educate us with the full history, science and taste of Irish whiskey. Attendees will learn every facet of Irish whiskey from its history to the renaissance of the spirit and
how it is made, how to taste and transmit that information. The training is hands on and there will be sampling of the raw materials of whiskey production, tastings of the big flavor
profiles and lecture allowing us to follow the spirit from grain to glass.”
