Abstract
The current study aimed to recognize the effectiveness of E-learning through open instructional
platforms and the attitudes towards it. It also aims to determine the differences that could be ascribed
to scientific major in attitudes towards E-learning through instructional platforms, and recognize the
most preferred platform among the study participants. The study problem could be reformulated by
raising the major question: What is the effectiveness of E-learning through open instructional platforms
and the attitudes towards it? The study has adopted a quasi-experimental design and an analytic
descriptive approach. It has also used statistical methods to obtain the findings of the study. It has been
found that the attitudes of the study sample were positive. Concerning the differences as per the
scientific major, there were no statistical differences have been traced. The participants viewed "Droob"
platform as the most preferred one and ranked them first due to being a national platform which aims
to promote E-learning and enable the workforce to develop their capabilities and skills.
