2. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ECONOMIC

         DEVELOPMENT AND ECONOMIC GROWTH

                ECONOMIC GROWTH

ECONOMIC GROWTH IS AN INCREASE IN NATIONAL

INCOME, WHICH IS A MANIFESTATION OF A PROCESS

         OF INCREASING PRODUCTION CAPACITY.

-ECONOMIC GROWTH OR ECONOMIC GROWTH IS A

         CONDITION WHERE ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES OR

ACTIVITIES CAUSE AN INCREASE AND INCREASE IN

GOODS OR SERVICES PRODUCED BY SOCIETY.

-ECONOMIC GROWTH IS CHARACTERIZED BY AN

INCREASE IN PER CAPITA OUTPUT, AND IN THE LONG

         TERM.

-ECONOMIC GROWTH IS A PROCESS AND NOT A

DESCRIPTION OF THE ECONOMIC SITUATION AT A

         CERTAIN TIME.

-IN ECONOMIC GROWTH, THERE ARE 2 SIDES THAT

MUST BE PAID ATTENTION TO, NAMELY TOTAL

OUTPUT (GNP) AND THE SECOND SIDE IS THE

         NUMBER OF RESIDENTS.

-ECONOMIC GROWTH IS AN INDICATOR OF

         SUCCESSFUL DEVELOPMENT.
