Recently Gods Own Country, Kerala was again hit by massive floods affecting many areas. One call from President Cathrine Philip of
Rotary Kanjirappaly RI Dist 3211 set the Rotary Wheel into action and President Irfan , Secretary Shafi , Coordinator Badri and advisor
Kuriachan with the complete support of Texcitians in just a few days were able to arrange for over 500 sets of various utensils consisting
of plates, glasses ,spoons, bowls and serving dishes as requested. Like minded Clubs like Rotary Tirupur Next Generation and Tirupur
Bharati graciously joined by giving over 1000 sets of T Shirts, sanitary napkins and inner garments. Total value of the items sent was over
5 lakhs. In the words of President Cathrine – Over 8000 people who lost their houses and Rotary Kanjirappaly are extremely grateful for
the immediate action taken by Texcity to their appeal . This shows that Rotarians always rise to the occasion.

Medical Sciences with 24 beneficiaries.
