is usually a Sino-Japanese noun that takes (0) sum.
Vte kara is close in meaning to Vinf .past ue de, in that both express two
actions in sequence. In fact, all the KS and Exs. can be rephrased using Vte
kara, as long as the verbs are volitional. See Note 2.
