vineyards and the fields. In our common

walks of life, as we go about our daily

duties in accordance with the will of God,

heavenly angels are with us every steps

                          of the way.

                   18. Human pride and self-sufficiency stand

                          rebuked in Jesus’ presence. He

exchanged the throne of heaven for the

                          manger, and the companionship of

adoring angels for the beast of the stall.

He made Himself of no reputation and

accepted our humanity when the race

had been weakened by four thousand

                          years of sin.

                   19. Jesus came with our heredity to share

our sorrows and temptations, and to give

us the example of a sinless life.
