vineyards and the fields. In our common
walks of life, as we go about our daily
duties in accordance with the will of God,
heavenly angels are with us every steps
of the way.
18. Human pride and self-sufficiency stand
rebuked in Jesus’ presence. He
exchanged the throne of heaven for the
manger, and the companionship of
adoring angels for the beast of the stall.
He made Himself of no reputation and
accepted our humanity when the race
had been weakened by four thousand
years of sin.
19. Jesus came with our heredity to share
our sorrows and temptations, and to give
us the example of a sinless life.
