               reached completion, he built, sixteen hundred


               years later, the city of Babylon, which became


               the capital of the world. This kingdom is used


               to illustrate the evil of the state church in the


               end  of  time  The  sins  of  the  ancient  city  are


               repeated by the last church, and its overthrow


               is the object lesson, to the world, of the final


               destruction  of  the  whole  world  when  Christ


               comes down, because her iniquity has reached


               heaven The figure is followed throughout the
