WE BEHELD HIS GLORY

The whole plan of salvation is for “the

obtaining of the GLORY of our Lord Jesus

Christ.” This plan was devised in the heart of

God from eternity past, and was implemented

“in the fullness of time,” (Galatians 4:4), when

He sent His Son on a two-fold mission.

What is this two-fold mission?

God sent His Son, not only to die for our sins,

forgive us our sins, and save us from our sins,

but to:

1. Reveal God’s glory to man.

2. Restore God’s glory in man.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt

among us (and we beheld his GLORY, the

glory of the only begotten of the Father,) full

of grace and truth” John 1:14.

Yes, the Word became flesh and tabernacled

among us, and we beheld His GLORY!
