Sometimes it may seem that man is alone; but
one glimpse of heaven shows that the whole
universe is watching, intently watching, and
salvation is the thought of every heart. As their
lives are more sensitive than ours because sin
has not dulled their sensibilities, so their
suffering in sympathy with man, is intense
beyond description. Love, eternal love rules
the universe, and when the conflict is over, a
shout resounds through creation, “The Lord
God omnipotent reigneth.” Then from
boundless space the creatures of His love
come to witness the gathering at the marriage
supper of the Lamb. In the city of God, the
