name will never become extinct. “I [Paul] bow
my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven
and earth is named.”
The continued history of Emmanuel, as read in
the life of the Christian Church, is what was
revealed to John by the angel Gabriel, Christ’s
attendant,-that member of the heavenly host
whose duty it has long been to make known
the mystery of God to His servants. God
desires that, man should comprehend the
nature of His law and the manner of His
working.
