hath done all these things, turn thou unto Me.”
Hearken unto the pleading of Jehovah with His
church, and judge whether or not He views the
plagues with pleasure. “Return, thou
backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will
not cause Mine anger to fall upon you: for I am
merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep
anger forever.” But the church heeded not the
call to return. Through the days of Constantine
she made greater advances until she took her
