VIII. New Business
• President Garfinkel “passed the gavel” and invited each attendee
to report on their regional activities, share news, report concerns,
or just comment in general. Of note during the discussion were the
following comments.
I. Nicole Kalicicki – Mid-Hudson – last met in May. They hope to
meet in September. Their calibrated baseline has been damaged.
Nicole asked other regionals to contact her if they are interested
in collaborating on a new baseline.
II. John Abruzzo – Long Island – last met in the spring. Are involved
in local school career days and middle school STEM programs.
III. Bob Marvin – Northern – moving their scholarship funds to a
foundation that offers better interest rates.
IV. Rich Moravec – Westchester-Putnam – last met in June. The
meeting was well attended.
V. Brie Meisler – Eastern – last met in May. Will have a board meeting
soon and then a general membership meeting in September.
VI. Jeff Moore – Mohawk Valley – had a golf outing about a month
ago.
VII. Josh Graf – Niagara Frontier – haven’t met since May. Josh is
happy to have so much from this meeting to bring back to his
regional at their next meeting.
VIII. Jason Larson – it’s been a busy summer!
IX. Patti Brooks – Mid-Hudson is planning a September Social.
X. Brian Bush – Southern Tier – met last week. Planning their next
meeting in August or September.
XI. Saeid Jalilvand – City – wished everyone a good summer.
