        Steven J. Willard, LS
Vice President After my first year of being El Presidente I find myself being
Scott A. Gillis, LS, Treasurer both more comfortable with my position and still a bit intrepid
        Scott B. Allen, LS, Secretary
Daniel E. Marvin, LS of the future. Inflation, work force issues, covid-flu, TOO MUCH
Executive Director WORK (I know it’s a good problem!) and MTS anxiety…

        Robert R. Allen, LS
        J. Steven Boddecker, LS However, after coming out of the 2023 NYSAPLS Conference I have a great feeling of “it’s
Patricia P. Brooks, LS going to be OK” and a new found inspiration to find ways to promulgate and perpetuate the
Gregory J. de Bruin, LS, PE
John R. Ennis, LS success and future of our profession. Having the opportunity to re-engage and interact with
        R. Ronald Kreiling, LS professional colleagues and others involved in our world of Land Surveying definitely left
        Joseph G. Malinowski, LS
Daniel E. Marvin, LS me with an after glow of energy to keep chugging on. I was especially energized and
Daren L. Morgan, LS impressed with the enthusiasm and forward thinking of the younger generation of rising
        Robert A. Smith, LS
Edwin A. Summerhays, LS survey stars that I had a chance to engage with. They left me with a real sense of confidence
Gary L. Thompson, LS that the future of surveying is in good hands.
        Glennon J. Watson, LS
Marie T. Welch, LS One of the many bright spots of the conference was my participation and interaction at
the Education Summit. In attendance were representatives from Alfred State, ESF Ranger

518-432-4046 Jeremy Thompson. The brightest part of the summit for me was the attendance of several
