MHVLSA Held Annual Meeting
by the Transition Assistance
Mid-Hudson Valley Land Surveyors Association (MHVLSA) Program (TAP) of Fort Drum,
held their annual membership meeting in March 2023, during the “Career Fair” had over 100
Surveyors week. They voted to keep the current slate of officers tables of vendors, including law
with the exception of a new Treasurer. Chris Grey became the enforcement agencies, trucking
successor to the Treasurer position held by Patti Brooks, LS for companies, colleges and private
several years. Congratulations to all the MHVLSA officers and security firms. The Young Professionals Committee’s presence

easily over to a career in the Land Surveying profession. Jason’s table
was adorned with all the latest equipment that we use as surveyors
which helped target specific Military Occupational Skills (MOS’s).
Whether it be an 11B (Infantrymen), a 15W (UAV operator), an
81C (cartographic drafter and mapper) to someone that works in
