                                                     NYSAPLS’ 2022 STRATEGIC RETREAT REPORT

                                                                                  NYSAPLS held a Strategic Planning
                                                                                  Retreat on May 12-14, 2022 at the
                                                                                  Embassy Suites in Saratoga Springs, NY.
                                                                                  A total of 38 members came together
                                                                                  representing 13 Regionals and 10
                                                                                  Committees, along with our staff and
                                                                                  counsel in attendance.

                                                                                  The retreat kicked-off with an “ice
                                                                                  breaker” luncheon on Thursday, May
                                                                                  12th allowing everyone an opportunity to
                                                                                  learn a little more about each other. From
                                                                                  there, we held planning sessions Thursday
                                                                                  afternoon and all day Friday, followed by
                                                                                  a Board of Directors meeting on Saturday
                                                                                  morning. We didn’t skimp out on the fun,
                                                                                  however. On Thursday evening, we held a
                                                                                  game night and pizza party.

        The planning sessions were facilitated by Susan Weinrich, Senior
        Vice President of Nonprofit Capacity Building from the New                                Family Feud winners
