fundraisers. Attendees were encouraged to network by
utilizing the video chatting feature on the platform.
We even saw a few group chat rooms created as well as
virtual “happy hours”.
On Thursday, January 21st, attendees gathered
“virtually” at lunchtime to honor the 2021
scholarship winners and welcome the newest
licensees to the profession. Congratulations to all for
your accomplishments. In addition, we presented
the NYSAPLS’ Pillars of Excellence Awards. A
listing of scholarship recipients, new licensees and all
conference contest winners can be found on page 19.
The second of week of our event featured additional
education sessions and “quick fires” as well as a Our silent auctions raised funds for a couple great causes. Conference
attendees bid on a fabulous assortment of gifts donated by members and
special Women’s Summit hosted by the NYSAPLS vendors. The LSPAC auction raised $1050 in donations while the Shaw
Young Professionals (YP) Committee. The Women’s Scholarship Fund auction raised $3,370! Thank to everyone who donated
Summit highlighted a panel of women surveyors items and participated in the bidding. Your efforts are very much appreciated.

We strive to make the conference as rewarding an experience as possible
by providing a unique blend of educational activities, opportunities to
visit with our sponsors and a chance to network with other like-minded
professionals while attempting to maintain costs as much as possible. We
sincerely hope everyone that attended had a great experience and would
