Post Conference Report – 2021

On behalf of the members of the conference committee,
education committee and staff, thank you to everyone who
attended our virtual conference in January!
A total of 630 registrants attended this year’s event,
including over 30 sponsors showcasing their products and
services. Typically, our event includes attendees traveling
from all areas of New York State and some hailing across
the country to join our annual celebration. This year, due
to the pandemic, all registrants attended from the comfort
of their home or office. Attendee registrations included
a dynamic combination of professional land surveyors
and engineers, CEOs, field crew, office staff, sales team
members, volunteers, students, college professors and
more. The association provided over 16 hours of continuing
education over the course of two weeks.
On opening day, Wednesday, January 20th, members were
welcomed with an open message by Conference Committee
Chairman, Kenneth Stigner and President Daniel Marvin.
Attendees had immediate access to browse the sponsor
“booths”, attend scheduled education sessions and exhibit
“quick fire” presentations, peruse the map contest and
