“I didn’t have much direction planned during my senior year
of high school so I decided to follow my uncle and become
a surveyor. It wasn’t until I learned more about the people,
work, and opportunities that the profession can offer that I
fell in love. The mix of intellectual and physical understanding
of projects is critical to what we do in order to connect flat
paper plans to the real world. Surveyors bridge the gap for
engineers, architects, and private landowners and it is a very
rewarding experience to bring everyone together to offer them
a new level of understanding. I have 13 years of experience
under my belt and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to
become a land surveyor!”
