Meeting called to order at 1:06 pm by President Jeremy Thompson. I. Call for New Business/Agenda Items:

Directors: • President Thompson reported that no other state representatives
Allegheny Plateau Gerard Emborski attended the meeting – no report.
Black River Valley Jeremy Thompson Education Summit Meeting Report
Catskill Absent • Dan Marvin reported that a good number of students attended. There
Central Absent was discussion about what can be done to help other colleges (non
City Lemuel Morrison Survey program) to provide the necessary courses for licensing. This
Delaware-Hudson Steven Green will need clarification through SBELSG on the specific requirements
Eastern Brie Meisler for these courses. Will work with Education Committee and SBELSG to

Long Island John Abruzzo Three Ranger School students are enrolled there now rather than
Mid-Hudson Nicole Kalicicki working due to the new education requirement for licensure.

Nassau Suffolk Scott Gillis Annual Conference Registration Report
Niagara Frontier Absent • Amber Carpenter reported there were 694 registrants including 35
Northern Robert Marvin, Jr. walk-ins. Amber will submit a full report for the next March BOD
Southern Finger Lakes Mark Flora meeting. Everything ran great!! Thirty-nine exhibitors helped in
Southern Tier Brian Bush exceeding the budget. Thank you to Nassau Suffolk for a tremendous
Queensboro Rodger Hess job as host regional. Scott Gillis will be leaving the committee after a

Annual Auxiliary Report
For 2024, seven regionals and two members of the executive board are required • Barb Marvin thanked the staff and conference committee for a great
