DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BROWSING

               AND SURFING THE INTERNET

Browsing is a process where people look for

information when they have a particular address in

mind while surfing is done with the help of random

search terms. Browsing is the act of reading

something without any aim while surfing is the act

of looking at something without any specific goal.

               BROWSER SOFTWARE

A web browser (commonly referred to as a browser) is a software

application for accessing information on the World Wide Web. When

a user requests a web page from a

                                                         particular website, the web browser

                                                         retrieves the necessary content from

a web server and then displays the page

                                                         on the screen.

A web browser, or simply "browser," is

an application used to access and view websites. Common web browsers

include Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and

Apple Safari. The primary function of a web browser is to render HTML,

the code used to design or "mark up" webpages.
