FUN FACT! Must to know...
In writing stories, if the main character is
always written using real name, it will
definitely be boring, right? So, this is where
the noun will appea r. For example, Queen
Elizabeth is replaced by the word "The
Queen", then King William is replaced by
"The King".
CHARACTERISTIC OF NARRATIVE TEXT
There are several characteristics of narrative text
that can be used as a reference to distinguish this
type of text from other texts. The characteristics
are:
1. In general, narrative text tells a story that has
happened in the past.
2. Usually narrative texts are stories that are popular
among the general public, such as the stories of The
Mouse-deer and Crocodile, The Rabbit and Turtle,
etc. Surely you are already familiar with these two
examples of narrative text, right?
3. Narrative text is often divided into several sequels, both simple and complex.
There are several narrative texts where the story is made continuously or
continuously between one part and another.
4. As previously explained, one of the most striking features of narrative text is
that it aims to entertain the reader. In addition, there is also another goal is to
share experiences with the audience.
