After another; chasing one false god after another (e.g. “I bleed orange and blue”
or “soccer is my life”) What do we make our life about if God is not on the
throne? Husband, wife, children, job, ministry, house, looks, etc. “You complete
me.”
But if God is on the throne of our hearts, everything else falls into its proper
place.

The 2 reason that worshipping God and going to Mass is good for us is for the
same reason that God filled the earth with food to nourish us. Going to Mass
nourishes our souls. We have a heavenly father that wants to feed us with what is
good for us. Just like parents command their
children to eat the right food as opposed to
junk food, God is a good father who takes
nourishing us seriously and commands us to
go to Mass because he knows that it is there
that we get the food that our souls need so
we can grow and live and become the
people that he made us to be – people who
live life to the full.
