On 26th January, 1950, we, the
people of india, decided to govern
ourselves and make the People's
Republic of India a democracy in the
true sense by adapting to what we call
"The Constitution of India".
This year the country witnessed the 71st
Republic Day that was celebrated with the
same patriotic fervour and excitement as it
is celebrated every other year.
The audience witnessed a
flabbergasting marchpast by
the students of our school.
Energy and nationalism filled
the school campus as the feet
of the students stroke the
ground and loud thuds started
being heard.
When the "Tricolor" unfurled,
everyone stood up and there
was absolute silence as the
chief guest Mr. Jyoti Prakash
who is incharge of Finance and
Accounts functioning of
Engineering and Project in
TATA STEEL. President of JAMSHEDPUR chapter of cost accountants and treasurer of
JAMSHEDPUR blood bank along with the Principal Madam Mrs. Rakhi Banerjee saluted the
Tricolor and "the National Anthem" tune was played by the musicians of our school. There was
dance performance by the students of the junior wing that grabbed the attention of the
audience and a marvellous speech by Arpita of Class 9 left the audience awestruck.
At the end of the programme, candies were distributed and everyone went home with a patriotic
spirit and a wider approach towards our responsibility towards the nation.
