Nature
is a painting for all of us,
day after day, pictures of infinite
beauty. So why cant we take small steps to
retain her mesmerizing glow? To fulfill this
purpose, our Eco Club which was established on 6th
April, 2018 where the members are taught to stop the wrong
practices which lead to the destruction of the flora and fauna.
This is an efficacious step to generate the feeling of love and
compassion in the students towards nature. Its main objective is to
save the environment from being annihilated by human activities
because it is our belief that small steps eventually add up to huge results.
Students of Eco Club took part in the Tarangini Project and made videos
on river cleaning and other clamant issues to spread awareness. They
also went to clean the Swarnarekha River. Students also attended a
meeting organised by Jampot Greens who also sponsored Anupam,
a member of our club, to compose a song 'Vesh' which was officially
uploaded by them on YouTube. Students also took part in a
cleanliness drive organised by them whose motto was to
'Save Mother Earth'. On the occasion of Earth Day, the
students presented a video during this pandemic to
show their support in this difficult hour with a
wonderful song ‘Hindustan’ penned
and sung by Anupam.
