Our school had organised an excursion for the students of class 11 from 23rd – 31st December
2019 in which the students were introduced to the different culture, taste and festivity of
Vishakhapatnam and Hyderabad. The students were overwhelmed to have a break from their
hardworking monotonous life. Everyone enjoyed themselves watching the beautiful sunset
along the never ending shoreline of Rushikonda Beach. The Zaika of the special coffee on the way
to Araku Valley was worth appreciation. The beautiful sky above Borra Caves accompanied by the
chilling weather on the Christmas eve was for sure a lifetime experience for the students.
Students who had affection for Geography were amazed to witness the beautiful limestone,
stalactite and stalagmite of Borra Caves. The next part of the journey was to Hyderabad, the Birla
Mandir was so elegant and beautiful that it was a feast to the eyes, The White Marble Temple
beside the huge Hussain Sagar lake truly deserves to be one the most famous attractions in
Hyderabad. The same day, the students explored Golconda Fort from where they could see
astounding landscapes and they also learned about the Qutub Shahi Dynasty and its
administration. The following day was the most joyful day from students’ perspective. The
students spent an entire day in WonderLa, one of India’s biggest amusement parks. The thrill
inside that amusement park was unmatchable. Splashing Water on each other, riding varieties of
slides and even riding the most thrilling and insane rollercoaster of India named as Recoil. On the
last day, The students visited the biggest attraction of Hyderabad that is Ramoji Film City, Asia’s
biggest film studio where almost each and every famous movie has been shot like Chennai
Express, Krish 3, Aashiqui 2, Sanju & Sooryavanshi. Now moving forward, Hyderabad without
biryani seems incomplete. So everyone tasted the famous mouth-watering hyderabadi biryani
and also some other famous street foods. All the students had immense fun in those few days of
excursion and everyone held the same view for it that it was one of the best lifetime experience
one could ever have.
