Meet Rita Subedi

For the Diary

I am originally from Nepal. I migrated to Australia in 2013
to be with my husband. I have always wanted a career in Date Event
the health sector, so as soon as I completed my
schooling, I began and completed my proficiency 3 Mar Grand Kids Day
certificate level of nursing in Nepal. After arriving in 3 Mar Weekly Aqua Fitness Classes
Australia, I studied a Bachelor of Nursing at the 13 Mar Nepalese Cultural Day
University of Technology Sydney. 13 Mar Art, Music and Dance Therapy

My passion is helping to heal and care for those people 15 Mar St Patrick's Day Happy Hour
who have been through a traumatic, stressful, 15 Mar Weekly Happy Hour (2.30pm)
unexpected change or a painful journey in their later 15 Mar Weekly Fishing Club Outing
years. I aim to provide them with warmth, care, dignity 16 Apr Art & Floral Art Competition
and hopefully bring happiness and comfort to their lives! 17 Apr Kindy Farm Visit
I hope the residents I treat and care for find healthy
perceptions of themselves and I want them to know I 19 Apr Easter Egg Hunt and BBQ
support them so they feel cared for. In my spare time I
love to catch up with my friends over a meal and also ANZAC Day Ceremony and
love watching movies. I also enjoy travelling and 24 Apr Morning Tea
especially returning home to Nepal to visit my family and 10 May Mother's Day High Tea
friends. I would love to continue learning and to 23 May Celebrate World Turtle Day
specialise in a specific area in nursing. I am happy to be a Regular Entertainment and
team player at Bayswater Gardens and I am loving 23 May Activities
getting to know all the residents and their families. May Wine and Cheese Festival - TBC
