SPRING 2023
BELLA VISTA NEWS
Welcome
By Dee Sookaloo
It’s been two months since I commenced my journey at
Bella Vista Gardens and what a busy time it has been. Last
month saw us managing a gastro outbreak. A great big
thanks to all the teams who worked so hard to contain it.
Well done to all who ensured the safety and wellbeing of all Staff wearing the new uniform in Camellia
our residents in those affected areas were maintained.
We also handed out a number of Standing Ovation awards
to staff who have gone over and beyond during this time.
For the month of June, I acknowledged the hardworking
leadership team and gave special thanks to Residential
Services & Relationship Manager, Mandeep Singh and
Clinical Care Managers, Wendy Yin and Sharan Harsharanjit.
Our Camellia area has also been busy, as we introduced
Cranbrook Care t-shirts to staff as a trial, which certainly
caused excitement. Even the residents joined in the fun
with the staff as they wore their new t-shirts with pride. Jack with his family at Winter Music Festival
Sue Pocock has moved across to one of Cranbrook Care’s
new residences, Lansdowne Gardens on Wycombe in
Neutral Bay so we have welcomed Jennifer Cox, our new
Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator who has certainly hit the
ground running with all of her great ideas and exciting
programs for our residents. With spring quickly
approaching, and the days warming up, Bella Vista Gardens
is gearing up for some fun times.
Best wishes,
Lino with his family at Winter Music Festival
