                                  From Eileen

Winter is upon us and the Leisure & Lifestyle Team
have been successfully organising a variety of
activities for the residents. Our outdoor garden
BBQ’s have been a great success, with residents
and relatives enjoying the fine food under the sun
in the garden and piano lounge. Our Leisure & Nella with her new friend
Lifestyle Team have changed our activities
calendar slightly and will continue to keep
residents busy with the exercises, quizzes, outings
and concerts amongst other things. Our ANZAC Housekeeping
Day service was an important and special event for
all residents and staff. As we were expecting rain
on the day, we set up the Piano Lounge for the Resident & Relative Meeting Dates
service looking out onto the Bay with an Anzac Day
Wreath set before us. We were able to collect 11 June, 2.00pm (Club Lounge, Ground Floor)
fresh rosemary from our very own garden beds 10 September, 9.00am (Club Lounge, Ground Floor)
and share these with the residents and staff as 10 December, 2.00pm (Club Lounge, Ground Floor)
they entered the service. Our cultural events have
been a hit with residents as well. Each month we Food and Beverage Attendants
hold a cultural recognition day and celebrate that We have welcomed Thomas Vellios back as a food and
culture with food, drink and entertainment. Our beverage attendant to ensure meals are ordered weekly
Nepalese Day was thoroughly enjoyed by or daily depending on the residents needs along with
residents, family members and staff alike. With the Molli Ah Lam. Molli and Thomas will be making their way
colder weather approaching, we all need to keep around to residents to discuss preferences for each half of
