AUTUMN 2021
LANSDOWNE NEWS
Welcome
By Donna Sunderland
Well, another Summer has come and gone and
another festive season filled with uncertainty has
passed. We are certainly becoming very resilient
and adaptable. It is great to be seeing more visitors Betty with her birthday flowers
and pets in the residences and finally residents are
enjoying social outings with friends and family and
some have even met new additions to the family
after much anticipation. We are again enjoying
concerts, Zumba and activities and generally
getting back to having fun with our entertainers
and visitors. It is fabulous to walk through the
residence and seeing groups of residents enjoying
the garden whilst sipping a glass of wine or a
cappuccino.
We have been very fortunate to host two students David and Moira enjoying lunch outside
who are undertaking a Bachelor of Health Science
– Therapeutic Recreation. The ladies have really
enjoyed their experience with us and our residents
will be very sad to see them leave us. Our current
focus is on cultural safety and diversity and we are
all enjoying learning more about each other. This
focus has resulted in inclusive and respectful
culture in our residences
