News
From David
With the first quarter of 2021 nearly over,
I think we can see a light at the end of the
tunnel!
It is a positive note that we are now able
to move around the residence without
masks. Somewhat to the shock of many
residents who had forgotten what we all
looked like, both good and bad…!
Rachel has been able to start up the
Leisure & Lifestyle activities with bus
outings and entertainers are able to visit
again. This has definitely made for a more
vibrant feeling within the residence and
jollied our residents. At 100 years young Lorna is still happy to give a hand
with filing, we need to bottle Lorna's secret to life!
We are looking forward to being able to
start our outdoor activities. Kicking off
with “Jazz on the Green” closely followed
by “Pets on the Lawn” and “Grand Kids
Day.” We are excited to be able to
welcome you back to these events in the
future.
COVID-19 has been a huge challenge for
families, staff and residents. I would like to
again thank you for your support during
this time. We are still required by
Department of Health to keep records of
visitors entering the residence. So, until
further notice temperature checks will be
carried out and screening forms will need
to be completed.
Until next time…
