Lansdowne Gardens
Lansdowne Gardens welcomed Michelle Megson as new Director
of Care Services this year. Michelle commissioned the opening of
Bayswater Gardens earlier in the year and moved to Lansdowne
Gardens in September. Lansdowne Gardens had a jam packed
calendar of events and activities for its residents this year. The Leisure
& Lifestyle team can be congratulated for its diverse, mind enriching
and active programs. Lansdowne Gardens was also fortunate to have
a small refurbishment in certain areas such as Camellia, with more on
the way for 2018.
Cranbrook at Home
Nadia Panetta commenced as Cranbrook at Home – Business
Manager in November as we start to ramp up our Cranbrook at
Home offering. You will be hearing more about it in the new year
as Nadia continues to plan and prepare for the year ahead with staff
recruitment, technology updates and the review of our offering.
Cranbrook Residences
Catherine Montgomery, Residential Manager commenced in January
and amid much excitement, the second and final stage of Cranbrook
Residences Bella Vista was completed in November. Residents have
been moving into this vibrant, growing community in a picturesque
setting overlooking the championship Castle Hill Country Club. Stage
Two adds 26 beautifully-appointed purpose-built one, two and three-
bedroom residences, as well as a cinema, multi-purpose arts and
crafts room and a well-stocked library featuring a mix of classics and
contemporary fiction.
West Street
The West Street office has undergone a minor refurbishment
to create more space as our team has grown over the year.
Gail Worthington-Eyre commenced in November as Group Care
& Services Manager. This newly created role will provide support
to our Directors of Care Services and focus on the care and services
we provide our aged care residents. While Gail is based at West
Street, she will be a regular face around each residence. Gail has
written a piece in The Colours of Cranbrook.
