AUTUMN 2023
                                                                    LANSDOWNE NEWS

                                    Welcome

                                     By Jason Dick

It has been a very busy start to the year with re-
accreditation in early January. As a consequence of
the hard work and dedication of the staff at
Lansdowne Gardens, we received a very pleasing
          result.

One of the most important aspects, noted by both
assessors through consultation with our residents and
representatives, was our ongoing commitment to Jim enjoyed the Christmas party.
          delivering quality care.
Re-accreditation has also allowed Lansdowne Gardens
to move forward with some exciting projects for
ongoing improvement; including a focus on supporting
our new, committed team leaders to further develop
skills in observation and problem solving whilst freeing
our Registered Nurse’s to provide greater clinical
          oversight throughout the residence.

In relation to improved care, I would like to note the
positive feedback and improved resident comfort with
the introduction of the Holistic Nurse. This role was
introduced to help our residents with chronic, acute
pain and emotional distress. I can personally see the
exceptional work of our Registered Nurses - Cindy,
Marie and Enrolled Nurse Alisha paying off.

As always, if you have any questions, please do not
          hesitate to contact me.
