Meet the Team
Meet Naomi Lavery
I moved to the Central Coast in 1980. When I was Outside of work, my life revolves around caring for
younger I always wanted to be a Motor Mechanic my 90 year old mother, my three dogs and thre cats
just like my father and brothers. I am one of five, along with the duties around the house both inside
four boys and myself the youngest and only girl. I and out. On hot days when not at work I love to go
am a happy person and love to chat. to the beach or lay by the pool, many a day’s falling
asleep and waking up burnt, not a good thing!
I started my nursing career 17 years ago and have
never looked back. I have worked in all areas of a I was the first female lifesaver at The Entrance Surf
nursing home, the laundry, kitchen, cleaning, Club in the 80’s. I have worked with and love riding
Assistant in Nursing Endorsed Nurse, Registered horses. I loved to roller skate as a young girl spent
Nurse and now as a Clinical Care Manager. many a Saturday and Sunday at Bankstown Roller
Rink in Sydney.
I cared for my grandmother and now I care for my
mother. I have two beautiful children one boy and I have an open door policy. Most days I am out
one girl who is now following in my footsteps in helping on the wings which I love doing so please
nursing. feel free to come and talk to me about anything.
I have worked in a hospital setting but love aged
care and the relationships I have formed over the
years with residents and their families. Just making a
difference each day, putting a smile on someone’s
face is the best feeling especially in these hard times
with COVID‐19.
