                                                  Patricia was born on 4 February 1935 in West London and was the
            25 March       Gay N.                 eldest of three girls. Ever since she was little, she prefers to be called
                                                  Trish.

            1 April        Margaret T.            Trish has very fond memories of her schooling days where she attended

            2 April        Daphne J               a Catholic school where girls were trained to be nuns. The school was a
                                                  Tudor house and she remembers on one side was the river Thames and
            3 April        Carol P.               the other side was the sports oval. To get to the oval they had to go
                                                  under the house through a tunnel. It was lovely and she enjoyed her
            7 April        Ann S. & Kath S.       schooling days.

            9 April        Catherine O.           Trish left school at the age of 13 years and took up cake decorating. She
                                                  won prizes for her magnificent cakes. Trish’s father left England to come

                                                  to Australia to set up home here for his family. Trish, her mother and
                           Elizabeth S. &         two sisters followed their father to Australia in 1957 by ship.

                                                  Trish applied for a job at David Jones in the city doing cake decorating

                                                  which was advertised in a magazine. That is where she met her husband
            25 April       Shirley T.             Carsten, which was love at first sight. They married and had three boys.
                                                  Trish and Carsten travelled and worked in many different states doing

            29 April       Cecily G.              Trish remembers one job she worked as a cook in the mines in Western
            May                                   Australia, while her husband worked in the pits at Paraburdoo in the
                                                  Pilbara.

                                                  When they retired Trish and her husband enjoyed doing pottery
